FAQ
Does this mean I have to report under CSRD myself?
Almost certainly not, unless you're a large EU company or a non-EU parent with over €150 million in EU turnover and an EU subsidiary meeting the size thresholds. If you're getting data requests, it's because your buyer is in scope — not you.
What is the "value chain cap" the guide talks about?
A 2026 rule limiting how much sustainability data a CSRD-reporting company can demand from suppliers with fewer than 1,000 employees — capped at roughly the voluntary VSME standard's scope, with an even lower bar for micro-enterprises.
